I am a very experienced beader, yet I was having a lot of trouble learning 3 Drop - Even Count - Tubular Gourd Stitch from the one book I have that covers it. I read Donna Wiggins' book this morning and I am already happily and successfully using the stitch to cover a leather wrapped dowel. Donna is an excellent teacher and this book addresses all necessary points and addresses them well. The photography, which I consider to be essential, is very clear and helpful. If you want to add a somewhat esoteric, complex beading technique to your repertoire, buy Donna's superb little book. (reviewed the day of purchase)

You can not find better written instructions on how to do the 3 Drop Even Count Peyote Stitch than is provided here. I have many books on beading and none of them can match the clear easy to follow steps shown here & most don't even have this important technique they just have the generic peyote stitch.
